David Douglas Daughters:
- Meet September through June on the first Saturday of the month in Redmond, Washington.
- Plan historic, educational, and patriotic programs at meetings, such as “The Scots-Irish in America,” and “Unlocking the Secrets to Family Photos.” Other recent programs include “Genealogy of Old Glory” and “Christmas in the Colonies.”
- Play an active role in our communities through Wreaths Across America, a Community Awards Luncheon, naturalization ceremonies, and 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War commemorations.
- Attend Washington State DAR meetings as well as Continental Congress, the annual national meeting of the DAR at our headquarters in Washington, D.C.
- Participate in Wreaths Across America, held in December of each year.
- Create a Constitution Week Display at the King County Library, Redmond.
- Volunteer for all types of community service to make the world a better place.
